How do I invite my housemates?
On Home, tap “Invite a housemate” (or open “Us”). Share the house link or code (it looks like MN-CHAR-1234) in your group chat. Everyone opens the link, or enters the code in “I have a code”, then picks their name.
Do I need an account?
Not to get started: the demo opens without an account, and a house can stay on your phone. An account (Apple, Google or email) lets you find your houses on another phone or on a computer.
I have a new phone: how do I get my house back?
Install Maisonnée, tap “Sign in” and use the same account as before (Apple, Google or email). Your houses appear under “Your houses”. Without an account, just ask a housemate for the house code.
Can I use it on a computer or Android?
Yes: open maisonnee-app.web.app in a browser. It is the same house as on iPhone, updated in real time. You can install it as an app from the browser.
Pompon doesn’t answer in his own words.
Talking with Pompon uses Apple Intelligence, on the iPhone itself: you need a compatible iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on (Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri) and the model downloaded. Otherwise, Pompon offers ready-made answers about the house. Nothing you tell him leaves your phone.
How do I add the Pompon widget?
Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap “Edit”, then “Add Widget”, search for “Maisonnée” and choose a size. You can tick off a chore from it without opening the app.
How does money between housemates work?
Everyone adds what they paid for the house. Maisonnée works out who owes what and suggests as few transfers as possible. The app makes no payments: you pay each other back as usual, then mark the repayment as done.
How much does Maisonnée cost?
Free, forever, for up to 4 housemates. Beyond that, Maisonnée Plus costs €2 per month for each extra housemate, for the whole house (autopilot included), and can be shared in Money. Agencies and landlords: €10 per room per month, write to us.
How do I cancel Maisonnée Plus?
On iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Maisonnée. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. The house then returns to the free plan, without losing anything. For a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
A housemate left, or I’m moving out.
The person leaving can announce it in You & the house → Leave the house (and leave a note for the next one). The housemate who manages the subscription can also remove someone in You & the house → Manage housemates. Remember to change the Wi-Fi password and door codes in the notebook.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything you do offline is kept on the phone and reaches your housemates when you are back online.
How do I delete my account?
On iPhone: You & the house → Your Account → Delete My Account. On the web: Settings → Account. Your account and online access are erased; the house stays with your housemates. Details in the privacy policy.
Where is my data?
On your phone and, if the house is online, in a database hosted in the European Union that only your housemates can read. No ads, no tracking. See the privacy policy.
